Membership
What is Swift Space Solutions?
Swift Space Solutions is a members-only cabinet buying group for licensed contractors, builders, remodelers and interior designers, run from Greenville, SC. Members pay $2,000 a year and buy cabinetry at factory-direct cost plus a transparent, volume-based markup. Professional 2020 Design layouts, ordering, delivery coordination and warranty claims are included.
Who can join Swift Space Solutions?
Licensed general contractors, home builders, remodelers and construction professionals working in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. You need an active contractor license on file, and we verify it before approval. Interior designers join through a separate Designer Membership. Homeowners cannot join; they get member pricing through a member builder.
How do I apply for membership?
Complete the five-step online application at swift-space-solutions.com/apply: business information, authorized representative, contractor license, agreement terms and how you prefer to pay. Nothing is charged when you submit. Dan verifies your license, then emails the membership agreement and a secure Stripe link to pay the $2,000 fee. Prefer to talk first? Call (864) 825-0080.
What happens if my application is not approved?
Nothing is charged when you apply, so there is nothing to refund. Dan reviews every application, usually within five business days, and if he cannot approve it he will tell you why. Once you are approved and pay, the annual fee is non-refundable. Membership is non-transferable and renews each year on your start date.
Is there a showroom I can visit?
No, by design. Showroom overhead is a big part of why dealers mark up 40 to 60 percent. Instead we provide door samples, finish swatches, manufacturer catalogs and 2020 Design renderings, and every approved member receives one complimentary sample door set.
Pricing
How much does the membership cost?
The Builder Group membership is $2,000 per year, billed annually. After that you pay factory cost plus a volume-based percentage on each order, with no per-order fees and no tiered plans. ACH bank payment has no added fee; card payments add a 3% processing fee. You must hold an active contractor license.
What does the $2,000 membership include?
Wholesale pricing on every cabinet line we carry, professional 2020 Design layouts with 3D renderings, unlimited projects with no per-order fees, full order management, jobsite delivery coordination, warranty-claim handling, order updates by text and email, a bi-weekly member call and a direct line to Dan. Flooring and appliances come to members first as we add them.
How does cost-plus, volume-based pricing work?
We buy direct from the factory and pass the cost to you with one transparent markup tied to the group's total purchasing volume. As the group buys more, the percentage drops for every member. By our own comparison, showrooms typically mark up 40 to 60 percent and big-box stores 30 to 45 percent.
Is a $2,000 cabinet membership worth it?
It depends on your volume. Our own comparisons put a typical kitchen $3,000 to $5,000 below showroom pricing, so one kitchen in that range would cover the fee. Before you join, send us a recent cabinet quote and we will run a free side-by-side comparison so you can check the math yourself.
Are there per-order fees or a minimum order?
No. There are no per-order fees and no minimum order. A full kitchen and a single vanity get the same cost-plus, volume-based pricing. Delivery is quoted separately and itemized in every quote, because it depends on the cabinet line and where the jobsite is.
What are the payment terms on cabinet orders?
Cabinet orders are paid 100 percent upfront when you approve the quote. Paying in full locks the manufacturer's price and reserves your slot in the production queue. We then place the order directly with the factory and log every milestone, from production to shipping, and Dan texts or emails you at each step.
What is a cabinet buying group?
A cabinet buying group pools purchases from many contractors so the group gets better factory pricing than one shop could alone. Some groups pay rebates on your existing supplier accounts. Swift Space instead sells at factory cost plus one volume-based markup for a $2,000 annual membership, and handles design, ordering and warranty claims.
Is a paid buying group better than a free trade account?
Free trade accounts at showrooms and online sellers usually give a tiered discount off their own list price. A paid group like Swift Space charges $2,000 a year but prices from factory cost plus a stated markup, includes 2020 Design and manages delivery and warranty claims. Compare both on the same job with written quotes.
Products and ordering
What cabinet lines do you carry?
Five curated lines: Brooklyn modern frameless, Madison transitional shaker, Classic raised panel, Modern flat panel, and Premium Custom for non-standard sizes, finishes and species. We supply kitchens, bath vanities, closets, laundry and mudrooms, built-ins, entertainment centers and light-commercial cabinetry. The gallery shows forty-plus door styles.
How fast can I get a cabinet quote?
Within 48 hours of receiving your plans, measurements or a competing quote. Full 2020 Design layouts with 3D renderings follow in three to five business days once specs are locked, and standard orders ship in two to four weeks. Rush options exist on select lines; ask Dan for current timing.
What is 2020 Design, and is it included?
2020 Design is professional kitchen and bath design software used across the cabinet trade. Every member project gets a full 2020 Design package: plan view, elevations, 3D renderings and an installer-ready item list. It is included in the $2,000 contractor membership; by our comparison, dealers often charge $500 to $1,500 for it.
What warranty do the cabinets have?
Every line carries the manufacturer's warranty. Terms vary by line, from one year up to lifetime on finish and construction. You never deal with the factory yourself: if a cabinet arrives damaged or fails, send photos the same day and we file and manage the claim with the manufacturer.
Can I return cabinets?
Stocked SKUs may be returned within 14 days, subject to a restocking fee. Custom and made-to-order cabinets cannot be returned. That is why every order goes through a full 2020 Design review before the purchase order is signed, so mistakes get caught on paper, not on the jobsite.
Delivery and installation
Do you deliver to the jobsite?
Yes. We coordinate delivery straight to your jobsite or warehouse anywhere in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. Delivery cost depends on the cabinet line and the location, and it is itemized in every quote, so there are no surprise freight charges after you order.
Do you install cabinets?
No. We do not install, which keeps overhead and the markup small. We keep a vetted installer network across Upstate South Carolina, the Charlotte metro, Atlanta, Nashville and the rest of the four-state area, and we will connect you with a crew on request.
Interior designers
Do you work with interior designers?
Yes. Interior designers can use our 2020 Design service per project or on the monthly Designer Pro plan, and we connect them with a vetted, licensed builder member who gets cabinet member pricing. You keep the client and the design; the builder quotes the homeowner and runs the build.
How much do the designer plans cost?
Per-Project Design is $150 per project and covers the kitchen, master bath and powder room with one revision round. Designer Pro is $350 a month for up to three full-house 2020 Design layouts with two revisions each, a builder connection, a directory listing and priority lead routing.
